Mi Tlalli, meaning "my earth" in Nahuatl, seeks to support our newest neighbors - undocumented folks facing adversity in their countries of origin. We strive to meet community needs in a warm and supportive space for holistic growth and thriving.
One way we do this is through a volunteer organized and funded weekly space Mondays in NYC.
Conventionally 'credentialed' volunteers are always appreciated but our biggest present need is volunteers who are able to show up, be present, and generously hold space.
We also welcome financial and material contributions. Our space cost is covered but all other needs are met through mutual aid and donations, with organizers often covering community needs from their own pocket.
